For the third year is a row we were able to get funding for the Friday to Sunday (July 6-8) Summer Camp for families with autism from The Gordon Foundation for Children and Youth, Nova Scotia Summer Employment (LaMPSS), The Royal Bank of Canada and the United Way of Lunenburg County. This camp is restricted to 3 families (10 children) and is open for registration now. Use the form below or call the Farm at 902-624-0603. Applicants will be interviewed by telephone or in person and may be asked to attend an assessment to ensure that this program is suitable for you.
In addition, we are pleased to announce that we have confirmed a professional from the US is coming to present information to parents and volunteers at our campfire talk about “The Movement Method“, a kinetic learning experience. She will also remain in Blockhouse to present a 2-day workshop to local teachers and other professionals. The cost to attend the July 10-11 workshop is $100 (but we are trying to get funding to provide bursaries) and advance registration is required by filling in this form or calling Patty at 902-624-0603.
