DELILAH
Delilah was foaled about 2009 and was left behind after her owner died in Cape Breton. On hearing of this dilemma, Patty immediately offered to take in her and her male companion, Red Vermont. They were both starving and had other medical and hoof issues. Patty nursed them back to health and organized a fund raiser to transport Red Vermont back to his home state in the US so that he could be used as a breeding stud. Delilah has now joined the therapeutic riding team and is still learning the ropes. Watching her run is like watching the wind on the Prairies!
