The annual Pirate Booty Fundraising dinner was held Saturday, August 2,2014 and was, by all accounts, very successful.. Our thanks to all of the volunteers who made food, set up the room, served and cleared tables, sold tickets, etc., etc. We are also grateful to the ruthless pirates who invaded the scene, insised on being fed and served grog, and then through forced means of persuasion raised a considerable sum by auctioning off their booty, taken no doubt from vessels now only found at the bottom of the sea! (Oh yeah, our thanks to the many sponsors who provided the goods for our auction baskets — there were 16 in total — and to the may bidders who very generously pushed the limits on each and every one.)
