Our free Summer Sensory Experience is once again fully funded, thanks to a grant we recently secured from Unity for Autism.
The camp is restricted to 3 families (10 children) and is open for registration now. Use the form below or call the Farm at 902-624-0603. Applicants will be interviewed by telephone or in person and may be asked to attend an assessment to ensure that this program is suitable for you.
The full weekend program will take place from Friday after lunch on July 3 through to early afternoon Sunday, July 5. The camping, riding and play experience is for families — children MUST be accompanied by a parent(s) or guardian. You spend the night in tents or the barn on Friday and Saturday. What a great way to spend a weekend under the stars! Program includes all of the activities we do at our “Ther-A-Playdates” on Wednesday and Saturdays throughout the summer — plus campfires, sing-a-longs and healthy meals together as a tribe. Learn sensory-supportive recipes from Patty and join in with all the chores.
- horses, horses, horses (riding, sensory, liberty training & 2-wheel cart)
- fishing (if swimming is not possible due to weather)
- exploratory hikes
- trampoline & zip line
- evening campfires
