Shanty is a piebald (that means black and white) Newfoundland dog who was born on October 23, 2019 and came to Hinchinbrook from Ontario just before New Year’s 2 months later.

Shanty will be trained by Kelly, our current Ther-A-Guard dog so that in a few months she can take over some of the hard work that Kelly does around the Farm. Who knows, maybe someday she, too, will become a registered Therapy Dog with St John Ambulance.
